Consequences of Not Napping

This is what happens when you refuse to take a nighty night nappy nap in the middle of the day. Mama Steph comes home from work and finds you passed out on the kitchen floor. In sunglasses and all.

Easter Weekend in NC

We spent Easter weekend in North Carolina with Grammy, Papa and Uncle Scott. Pretty much the only time the weather cooperated were these 30 minutes on Saturday so Emmy could hunt for some plastic eggs. Lexi was napping so her egg enjoyment had to come a little later, indoors. We weren't sure how much Emmy was going to get into it and if we'd end up spending time fetching the eggs ourselves later on, but she loved it. Probably all the better that they were hidden in plain sight. Well, except that one Mama Steph hid in the tree. She thinks she's so funny. :)

Our Matching Outfits

Cousins Mayla and Charlie got the girls these matching outfits and they were both now just the perfect size to wear them. This particular morning found them fighting for control of a musical card. It looks here like Emmy has the upper hand, but it wasn't long after this that Lexi got a good grip on it and ripped it in half and the music stopped for all. Mama Steph wasn't too disappointed though because dang, that was an annoying singing card.

Mommy Left On a Trip, So We Played!

Mommy had to travel for work for a couple of days. We thought Lexi was about to crawl, so Em and I grabbed the camera, and before you knew it, it was a mini photo shoot. Wish Mommy could have been here.

Final Four Festivities!

College Basketball Baby! Mama S loves it. The rest of the girls... tolerate it. Though, since Emmy got a miniature basketball hoop, she has taken a slight interest in playing. Maybe she can play for Vandy one day. We cheered for our Kentucky Wildcats like crazy (well, everyone except for Greg- poopy UConn fan), but they didn't make it to the final game. Oh well, next year. Up next: KENTUCKY DERBY!
